ArtsLINK: College of Fine Arts and the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program – ArtsLINK is the only arts teaching workshop in the state for undergraduate students/pre-service teachers. 2016 – 2022; Sample sessions include:

  • “The Sun Mother – Using creation stories from Australia to inspire new stories and how to dramatize them
  • “If – Approaching essential questions in mathematics with image work in drama”
  • “Here We Are – Maps, spatial thinking, and drama”
  • “What If – Using Poetry and Drama as an approach to Social Emotional Learning Competencies”
  • “Shadow Play with the book FLASHLIGHT”

Tanner Dance – This is a series of six year-long workshops that integrate the arts into academic curriculum. Each workshop focuses on an art form or integrated arts as they relate to other areas of the curriculum: math, language arts, science, social studies and life skills.

BYU Arts Express – This two-day event provides arts integration instruction in all five art forms—dance, drama, media arts, music, and visual arts—with special insights on ways to integrate the arts with core curricula.
